Bharat Children’s Academy (BCA) is a premier co-educational English-medium institution located in the serene township of Walchandnagar, Maharashtra. Affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (SSC), BCA is committed to nurturing young minds through quality education, character building, and holistic development. Established in 1969 by Walchandnagar Industries Limited (WIL), one of India’s most respected engineering organizations, the school was founded with the vision of providing world-class education to the children of Walchandnagar and surrounding communities. In 1985, the institution was renamed Bharat Children’s Academy in memory of the then Managing Director, Shriman Seth Bharat.
Our Heritage
Walchandnagar Industries Limited (WIL), with over a century of engineering excellence, has played a significant role in India’s industrial growth. Renowned for its contributions to sectors such as Nuclear Power, Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Cement, and Sugar Industries, WIL has always believed that education is fundamental to nation building.
This vision led to the establishment of Bharat Children’s Academy, which has grown into one of the region’s most respected educational institutions.
Academic Excellence
Since its inception, BCA has maintained a strong reputation for academic achievement and student success. In 1996, the institution expanded its educational services by establishing a Junior College, providing students with a seamless pathway from primary education to higher secondary studies.
Today, the institution serves more than 1,500 students from Nursery to Std. XII, supported by a dedicated team of over 75 qualified and experienced educators and staff members.
